CD One Price Cleaners Launches AI-Powered Online Virtual World

New website designed to ‘gamify’ customers’ experience with company

CHICAGO — Dry cleaning and laundry franchise CD One Price Cleaners recently launched an online experience for its customers utilizing artificial intelligence to interact with its audience.

In its release announcing the new site, the Chicago-based company’s AI-powered new world, SummertimeRoadTrip.com, “aims to give customers a gamified savings experience, increase summertime dry cleaning and laundry awareness, and drive repeat visits during the slow summer season.”

"Dry cleaning isn't a particularly glamorous service, but we're changing that," says Jonathon Reckles, CD One's VP of Marketing and head of the Summertime Road Trip immersive microsite development. "Through AI advancements, we have found a unique way to connect with our customers while providing savings in a fun, gamified way.”

The site utilizes AI-generated images, videos, music, and sound effects from LeonardoAI and Stable Audio. While exploring the virtual world, users get an opportunity to shoot off fireworks, learn how to deal with pesky wine stains, and unlock weekly offers for use in the real world.

Also, in an effort to drive an increase in customer visits during the traditionally slow month of July, customers can also enter to win the ultimate grand prize — a U.S. road trip experience — in-person by visiting any one of company’s nearly 50 locations across four states.

“We continue to innovate our business-tech model to keep us ahead of the competition while providing memorable experiences to our customers," Reckles says.
